UDI Color Challenge 132

Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a wonderful start! Here is this week's color challenge on the UDI blog.

Here is what I created. I found my inspiration on Pinterest.

The card base is Pool Party.  I punched lots of circles out with different SU! circle punches and glued them on a piece of Whisper White.  I ran the layer through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice embossing folder.  I trimmed the edges and adhered it to a piece of Island Indigo.  I used a stamp from the sneak peek set, A Round Array, as a sentiment and focal image.  So simple but cute.

Here is what I created.

I started with a card base of Naturals White.  I die-cut several pieces of card stock on the Tasteful Trim die and adhered them to a smaller piece of Naturals White.  The top strip was sponged using the Delicate Details tape.  A sentiment and a butterfly finish off this simple card.

Summer Smooches Butteflies

Happy Monday! I hope you had an amazing weekend! I sure did! It was packed full of fun and family! :)

On to today's project...

One of my co-workers is also a Girl Scout/Brownie troop leader. She asked if I would do a craft with her troop. Well, duh! Of course! ;) I wanted to keep it fairly easy, since her Brownies are 7 and 8. Here's the card they'll be putting together Tuesday night.

I found the layout on Pinterest.  The card base is Whisper White embossed with the Honeycomb folder.  The mat is a piece of Real Red topped with a piece of Summer Smooches DSP.  The butterflies are punched from Daffodil Delight and Tangerine Tango.  They are embellished with a Rhinestone jewel.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and was punched out with the Modern Label punch.

I sure hope they enjoy their introduction to Stampin' Up! and papercrafting!  :)

Supplies(all SU!): Stamps- Teeny Tiny Wishes.  Ink- Real Red.  Paper- Whisper White, Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Tangerine Tango, Summer Smooches DSP.  Accessories- Big Shot, Honeycomb embossing folder, Modern Label punch, Rhinestone jewels.

You may have arrived from Norma's blog, you may be a regular reader :), or maybe you just stumbled here by accident! However you found me, I'm glad you're here! The bonus card is one I sent to Max on her birthday last week.  :)
