UDI Color Challenge 119

Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a wonderful start! Here is this week's color challenge on the UDI blog.

Here is what I created with it.

I started with a piece of Whisper White.  I stamped the oval from Oh, Hello in Pink Pirouette in the middle.  The flower was stamped with Cherry Cobbler, Primrose Petals and Lucky Limeade.  The sentiment was stamped in Cherry Cobbler.  I used the Color Spritzer tool to add Lucky Limeade and Primrose Petals splotches.  I matted the focal piece on Lucky Limeade and added that to a Whisper White card base.  It's a simple design, and I love the finished card! :)

You can see what the other designers created by heading over to the UDI blog.

Supplies(all SU!):  Stamps- Oh, Hello.  Ink- Primrose Petals, Pink Pirouette, Cherry Cobbler, Lucky Limeade.  Paper- Lucky Limeade, Whisper White.  Accessories- Color Spritzer tool.

UDI Color Challenge 118

Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is off to a wonderful start! Here is this week's color challenge on the UDI blog.

Here is what I created with it.

This card will be heading off to my cousin who is having a baby boy any day now.  :)  The base is Very Vanilla.  The focal layer is Soft Suede and Very Vanilla.  The hearts were stamped with hearts from the Hearts a Flutter set and die-cut with the matching framelit.  A small heart was punched from River Rock and adhered to the first heart with a rhinestone for some bling.  All the Very Vanilla pieces and hearts were sponged with River Rock ink.  The sentiment was stamped in Soft Suede.  A piece of Island Indigo ruffled ribbon is the finishing touch.

To see what the other designers created, head on over to the UDI blog.

UDI Saturday Sketch Challenge 224

Happy Saturday! Time to get sketchy! Here is the sketch for today.

 UDISC224 JAN 19

Here is what I created with it.

The card base is Summer Starfruit.  The next layer is Midnight Muse that was embossed in the Honeycomb embossing folder.  I adhered it with the debossed side facing up so the pattern would be a bit more muted.  The DSP is from the Print Poetry stack.  "Hello" was stamped on Very Vanilla and punched out with the Ticket Duo Builder punch.  The middle ticket is adhered with a dimensional.

I was going for a masculine card, and I'm pretty sure this will pass as masculine.  There's no bling or ribbon.  ;)

I'd love to read what you think about it!  Leave me a comment and then head on over to the UDI blog to see what the rest of the designers created for you.

Supplies(all SU!):  Stamps- Oh, Hello!  Ink- Midnight Muse.  Paper- Summer Starfruit, Midnight Muse, Very Vanilla, Print Poetry DSP stack.  Accessories- Big Shot, Honeycomb embossing folder, Ticket Duo Builder punch, dimensionals.

UDI Sketch Challenge 222

Happy Saturday! Time to get sketchy!  January's sketches are brought to you by the letter E.  (That's E for Elizabeth!  LOL)  Here is the sketch for today.

UDISC222 JAN 5

Here is my card.
I started with a Naturals White card base.  A strip of Print Poetry DSP is layered on a strip of Basic Black and adhered to the base.  I stamped the sentiment from Trust God in Basic Black and punched it out with the 1 3/4" Circle punch.  That was layered on a Primrose Petals die-cut from the Circles #2 die and a Basic Black 2 3/8" Scallop Circle punch.  I ran the Primrose Petals circle through the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder to mimic the dots in the DSP.   I adhered the sentiment piece to the card with dimensionals.  A simple card that says a lot.

To see what the rest of the designers created, head on over to the UDI blog.

Supplies(all SU!):  Stamps- Trust God.  Ink- Basic Black.  Paper- Naturals White, Basic Black, Primrose Petals, Print Poetry DSP stack.  Accessories- Big Shot, Circles #2 die, Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder, 2 3/8" Scallop circle punch, 1 3/4" Circle punch, dimensionals.
