Here is what I created.  Yep, another baby card.  I'm attending a baby shower today, so I needed another one.  :)

UDI Sketch Challenge 193

Good Saturday morning! Time for another UDI Sketch Challenge! Here's the 3rd June sketch.

Since tomorrow is Father's Day, I used the sketch to make my dad a card.  Here it is.
The base is Not Quite Navy.  The squares were cut from a piece of Well Worn DSP (retired) and mounted to a piece of Early Espresso.  The sentiment is stamped on Very Vanilla in Not Quite Navy.  The Very Vanilla piece was sponged with Not Quite Navy, Crumb Cake and Early Espresso to dirty it up a bit.

I'd love to hear what you think!  Leave me a comment, and then head over to the UDI blog to see what all the other designers created for you.

My card is a clean and simple one.  The base is Crumb Cake, the sentiment is stamped in Chocolate Chip, and the heart is colored with Poppy Parade.

See that pierced heart?  I did that with the new Essentials Paper-Piercing Pack.  This new tool is a must-have!

Happy Saturday! It is now officially summer here. Yesterday was the last day of school for my kiddos. My son is now a sophomore, and my daughter is a freshman! Two kids in high school. How did that happen?

Anyway, it's time for another sketch on the UDI blog. Here is what I created today. I needed a baby card for a co-worker.  Yep, the one I was sure was having a boy is having a girl. LOL   The base is Pretty in Pink.  I layered a Doily covered with Dazzling Diamonds on the base.  The strip is a piece of DSP in Daffodil Delight.  That is topped with a bit of ruffled Daffodil Delight seam binding.  The image is from Easy Events and was colored with markers and blender pens. The circle is the same DSP, and the bow is more seam binding.  I added some Dazzling Details rain to finish it.

Let me know what you think, and then head over to the UDI blog to see the other projects.

Supplies(all SU!):  Stamps- Easy Events.  Ink- Jet Black Stazon, Daffodil Delight, Pretty in Pink, Melon Mambo, Bashful Blue.  Paper- Whisper White, Pretty in Pink, Daffodil Delight DSP.  Accessories- Big Shot, Paper Doily sizzlit, 1 1/4" Circle punch, Daffodil Delight seam binding, Dazzling Diamonds, Dazzling Details, dimensionals, sticky strip.

Stamp to the MAX Blog Hop

The new 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! catalog goes live today at Noon MT!  My upline's Stampin' Up! team is having a blog hop to celebrate!  Keep reading to see some sneak peeks of all the wonderful new products available later today!

Welcome to our Stamp to the MAX blog hop! We hope you are inspired by our projects using products from the 2012-13 Catalog. You may have arrived from Stephanie Bradley's blog or you may be a regular reader :), or maybe you just stumbled here by accident! However, you found me, I'm glad you're here! I am stop #6 on the blog hop. (The blog hop officially starts at 8 am ET, so if all the links aren't working, try again then!) For my peek into the amazing, new 2012-2013 Stampin' Up! catalog, I created a card. I used the new Comfort Cafe DSP, the new stamp set, Layered Labels, and the new framelits, Apothecary Accents.
The card base and the sentiment panel are Very Vanilla sponged with Cajun Craze.  The sentiment is stamped with Cajun Craze ink.  The squares were punched with the 1 1/4" Square punch and adhered to a piece of Cajun Craze card stock.  Pieces of Victoria Crochet trim adorn each end of the framelit.  Large pearls are the finishing touch.

I hope you enjoyed my stop on the hop.  The next stop is my fellow FL teammate, Christina Mansker.

Have an amazing Friday!

Supplies(all SU!):  Stamps- Layered Labels.  Ink- Cajun Craze.  Paper- Very Vanilla, Cajun Craze, Comfort Cafe DSP.  Accessories-  Big Shot, Apothecary Accents framelits, Victoria Crochet trim, Large pearls, sponge dauber, dimensionals.
