UDI Saturday Sketch Challenge

Happy Saturday!  Wow!  Another week has flown by, and it's time for another UDI Sketch Challenge! (I really need to make time to create and post to my blog aside from Saturdays!  I will have to work on that!) Here's today's sketch from Carol.  I left it just the way she drew it.  :)

I used the Strength & Hope set for my card.  This stamp set is available in the Summer mini catalog, and Stampin' Up! is donating $2 from each set sold to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.  What a wonderful way to help cure breast cancer!  Way too many loved ones have been lost to this terrible disease.  My sisters' lost their mom more than 10 years ago after her 18-year battle.

The card base is Naturals White card stock.  The next layer is Chocolate Chip followed by a piece of Blushing Bride that was run through the Big Shot in the Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder and a piece of Blushing Bride DSP which was punched with the Scallop Trim border punch.  I stamped the flourish image in Blushing Bride ink.  The image pieces are Naturals White layered on Chocolate Chip card stock.  The words and letter were stamped in Chocolate Chip, and the butterfly was stamped in Blushing Bride.  All the papers except the Chocolate Chip layers were sponged with Blushing Bride ink.  The Hope image was attached with dimensionals.

I am thrilled with the final outcome.  What do you think?  Is it as pretty as I think it is?  :)  Leave me a comment and then head back to the UDI blog so you can check out all the teams' projects.

Have a wonderful weekend!
