Inspiration Thursday

Happy Thursday!  I used today's challenge to get a Father's Day card made for my dad.  I used colors and theme from the picture as inspiration...Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Whisper White and trees.  :)

My card base is a piece of Old Olive that was run through the Big Shot in the Square Lattice embossing folder.  The next layers are Chocolate Chip and Whisper White run through the Big Shot with the Top Note die.  I trimmed the perforated edge off the piece of Whisper White and sponged the edges with Old Olive.  I stamped the large tree image from Lovely as a Tree in Chocolate Chip.  (Lovely as a Tree is such a classic set.  I'm so glad it wasn't on the retiring list!)  The sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes is stamped in Old Olive on Whisper White and punched with the Word Window punch. Linen thread is tied around the Top Note layers for added interest.  What do you think?  Is it masculine enough?

Head on over to the UDI blog to see what inspired the rest of the team.

Supplies(all SU!):  Stamps- Lovely as a Tree, Teeny Tiny Wishes.  Ink- Old Olive, Chocolate Chip.  Paper- Whisper White, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip.  Accessories-  Big Shot, Square Lattice embossing folder, Top Note die, Word Window punch, Linen thread, sponge dauber.

Thanks for visiting!

Great Father's Day card! It is definitely masculine enough. I can't believe this stamp set is still around - how can you not love it?!?
