Mojo Monday on Saturday!

Happy Saturday! Do your weekends fly by as fast as mine? I hope you are making the most of yours!

Today's card follows Julee's MojoMonday75 sketch. I just love her sketches! They are fabulous!

I used Sweet Always DSP and the coordinating stamp set, Always. I really like that little bird, and he has been so neglected. I had to dust him off tonight. I stamped him in Chocolate Chip and cut him out. He is adhered with dimensionals. The sentiment is also adhered with dimensionals. I made faux brads (I have to hoard my real Chocolate Chip brads for a little while longer LOL) with my 1/4" circle punch and Crystal Effects. The scalloped edge is made with the new Eyelet border punch. Love it! Leave me a comment and let me know what you think!

Supplies(all SU!): Stamps- Always. Paper- Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Sweet Always DSP. Ink- Chocolate Chip. Accessories- 1/4", 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" Circle punches, Eyelet Border punch, Crystal Effects, dimensionals.

Finally Friday!

Are you as excited as I am that it's Friday? WooHoo!

Today's project is a great box I found on Nancy Riley's blog. Her box was a RAK from Kelly Lunceford. You can find the original box and a tutorial here on Kelly's blog. It's super fabulous! The finished box measures 6 X 3 X 1 15/16. There's plenty of room for LOTS of chocolate inside! ;) My box is nice and sturdy, too, since I used Stampin' Up!'s new specialty DSP, Parisian Breeze.

Have a fantastic Friday!

Supplies(all SU!): Stamps- Say It With Scallops. Paper- Baja Breeze, Sahara Sand, Parisian Breeze DSP. Ink- Chocolate Chip. Accessories- Scalloped Square punch, Whisper White Organza ribbon, Linen thread, Sticky Strip.

Inspiration Challenge #32

It's Thursday, so that means it's time for another UDI inspiration challenge. I can't believe we're up to 32 already! Yikes!

For today's creation, I took the photo and ran with it. I am no Michelle Zindorf, but I am thrilled with the outcome! I didn't even use a brayer. LOL I used a hand wipe with reinkers. (I don't have any babies at home, but I do have Wet Ones. ;) )

Let me know what you think! I would love to hear from you!

Supplies(all SU!): Stamps- Inspired by Nature (dormant list). Paper- Whisper White, Glossy White, Basic Black. Ink- Jet Black Stazon, Whisper White. Accessories- White EP, Wide Oval punch, reinkers (Apricot Appeal, Tangerine Tango, Almost Amethyst & Pacific Point), Wet Ones hand wipe.

I used the Curly Label punch and Cute & Curly stamp set. The image was stamped on Very Vanilla and punched. The front panel was punched (one layer at a time). Hey, cupcake!

Today's card is for someone I babysat when she was a newborn. She will be 17 on Thursday. Boy, does time fly!

I used the Level 3 Hostess set, Hand Drawn Bundle, again. I love those rub-ons! I also used the DSP from the same bundle. I colored the letters in with my Versamarker and embossed with Iridescent Ice. It's so sparkly IRL. The button in the corner is one of the new corduroy brads in Kiwi Kiss. Love them! I popped the sentiment/image layer up on dimensionals.

Have a fantastic Wednesday!

Supplies(all SU!): Stamps- none. Paper- Sahara Sand, Baja Breeze, Hand Drawn DSP (Level 3 Hostess set). Ink- none. Accessories- Loop to Loop rub-ons (Level 3 Hostess set), Kiwi Kiss Corduroy button, Versamarker, Iridescent Ice, dimensionals.

A Little Note of Thanks

Today's post is a quick one. This is a 3X3 thank you note. The flower was made with the SU! Exclusive Cherry Blossom embosslit. I used Rose Red Prints (retired) so that I could sand the embossed edges and let the white core show. The sentiment is from the Level 3 hostess rub-ons, Loop to Loop. I used a new white brad for the center of the flower and attached it to the card with a pop-up glue dot. Easy peasy.

Hand Drawn Birthday

Happy Valentine's Day! Yay for the weekend!

We have a birthday party to attend today. The little girl is going to be 7. I kept the card simple since it's probably going in the trash. *gasp*

I received my order yesterday from my 1st SAB party. I couldn't wait to dig in to it! ;) Today's card uses the Level 3 Hostess set, Hand Drawn Bundle. I love the rub-ons and the paper! The card base is Kiwi Kiss. The cupcakes are from the stamp set that is also a part of the bundle. They're stamped in Bashful Blue on Whisper White. The sentiment is a rub-on. Easy peasy.

Enjoy the rest of your Saturday!

Supplies(all SU!): Stamps- It's a Loop Thing (Level 3 Hostess). Paper- Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White, Hand Drawn DSP (Level 3 Hostess). Ink- Bashful Blue. Accessories- Loop to Loop Rub-ons (Level 3 Hostess), Ticket Corner punch.

UDI Inspiration Challenge #30

It's that time again! Inspiration Challenge Thursday! Check out the UDI blog for more projects.

The petal cards were run through the Big Shot with the Flourish Texturz plate before being assembled. Real Red striped ribbon acts as a handle for the bag.

Have a great Thursday!

Supplies(all SU!): Stamps- none. Paper- Whisper White, Real Red Prints DSP(retired). Ink- none. Accessories- Big Shot, Petal Card die, Texturz Backgrounds #1, Real Red striped ribbon, 3 Heart punch.

Top Note Celebration!

Happy Saturday! I hope you all are enjoying your weekend! I am in the middle of preparing my home for my New Catalog/SAB party tomorrow. :) Here's another card we'll be making.

It was super easy to make. First, I ran the Whisper White card base through my Big Shot with the Small Dots Texturz plate. (Just the front of the card is embossed.) Then I ran a piece of Pumpkin Pie cardstock and a small piece of Sweet Always DSP through with the Top Note die at the same time. The seam is covered with some Pumpkin Pie striped ribbon. The sentiment is stamped in Chocolate Chip and punched out with the Scallop Circle punch. I stamped the sentiment again in Regal Rose and just punched out the center with the 3/4" Circle punch. Both pieces are adhered with dimensionals.

Supplies(all SU!): Stamps- Party Hearty. Paper- Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Sweet Always DSSP. Ink- Chocolate Chip, Regal Rose. Accessories- Big Shot, Top Note die, Texturz Bacgrounds #1, Pumpkin Pie striped ribbon, Scalloped Circle punch, 3/4" Circle punch, dimensionals.
